Donate Life Ohio Day at the Ohio State Fair
Saturday, August 6 Donate Life Ohio will register Ohioans as organ, eye and tissue donors
In Ohio, more than 3,000 men, women and children are waiting for a lifesaving transplant. Their only hope of survival is through the generous gift of an organ donor.
And, every 48 hours, an Ohioan dies waiting for an organ transplant that didn’t come in time. That Ohioan could be your neighbor, your family member or someone in your community.
On Saturday, August 6, Donate Life Ohio will be sponsoring a day at the Ohio State Fair to raise awareness for organ, eye and tissue donation! Donate Life Ambassadors f rom all over our great state will be in action providing education, registering new donors and leading the daily parade to bring awareness to this important issue to the 100,000 fair visitors expected that day.
